Woodford Country Markets - Must-do weekend activites

Your weekend activities are sorted! Every 3rd Sunday of the month, you can start your morning off at the Woodford Country Markets, which are open from 7am to 12pm at Binambi Place, Archer Street, Woodford. Browse around the market stalls which are filled with a range of handmade items and local produce.

The market has a variety of stalls such as:

  • Local produce
  • Fresh flowers and plants
  • Food stalls
  • Handmade clothing and accessories
  • Woodwork, metal and glass art
  • Handmade beauty products
  • and heaps more!

Picnic in the park

Picnic in the park - must do weekend activities

What’s better than rolling out a picnic blanket and absorbing the warm sunshine while enjoying a freshly made sandwich, pie or croissant. Head to one of the local cafes to pick up some take away and enjoy a picnic in Ambrose Tilney Park, Woodford Memorial Park or in your own backyard at Archer’s Way!

The Woodford Heritage Railway

Take a visit to the Woodford Heritage Railway! Just a 5 minute drive from Archer’s Way, you can enjoy a heritage train ride through the former Caboolture to Kilcoy Railway. Operating every first and third Sunday of each month, it is sure to be a great day out with picnic and BBQ facilities also available.

Passenger operations are 10am to 3pm, with trains operating approximately every 30 mins. You can find out more here.
